Meet Chloe, Manager at DCR
We’re excited to introduce Chloe, who joined DCR in September last year. Chloe helps our clients strengthen their operational resilience by developing crisis management simulations, overseeing penetration testing, and advising on security best practices. She also contributes to procurement and security strategy, playing a key role in enhancing organisational security posture.
We sat down for a quick chat to hear about her journey with DCR so far.
Q&A Interview:
Tell us a bit about you and your role - what do you do here, and what brought you to the company?
I like to get involved in a bit of everything, but my role mainly focuses on operational resilience, managing penetration testing, and building crisis management simulations.
I joined DCR for the chance to work across a wide range of projects and keep developing new skills.
What was your first impression of the company, and has it changed over time?
From the start, I was struck by how much energy there was in the business. The team were clearly knowledgeable and ambitious, and there was a real drive to deliver quality work. That impression has only deepened as I’ve seen the company grow, take on bigger challenges, and adapt quickly to new areas our clients need support with.
How would you describe the company culture to someone thinking of joining?
It’s open, inclusive, and genuinely supportive. Everyone has the chance to contribute ideas, and you’re encouraged to explore new areas that interest you. Even though we’re remote, there’s a real sense of connection, and we make time for the social side too having socials to bring a bit of spirit back into the month.
What do you enjoy most about your day-to-day work or team?
I enjoy the conversations with colleagues just as much as the work itself – hearing different viewpoints and learning from the team. The variety of projects keeps things interesting, and there’s always something new to get stuck into.
Can you share a moment where you felt especially proud to be part of the company?
Attending industry conferences like the Building Societies Annual Conference and the Financial Services Operational & Organisational Resilience Conference has been a highlight. Seeing how DCR’s work resonates in those settings, and the value we bring to clients, made me proud to be part of the team.
What's one value or principle you see lived out regularly at DCR?
“Say it straight.” Clear, honest communication is part of the day-to-day here, and it makes teamwork and decision-making so much smoother.
What kind of person do you think thrives in DCR?
Someone who’s curious, adaptable, and excited by variety. If you like switching between different projects, picking up new skills quickly, and having the support of a team behind you, you’ll thrive here.
If someone asked you why they should come work here, what would you say?
DCR is a place where you can make a real impact. Your ideas are heard, your development is pushed forward, and the projects are genuinely exciting. With the company expanding and new opportunities opening up all the time, it feels like the perfect moment to get involved.
