DCR Partners recently hosted a virtual roundtable event to discuss “Exit Strategies: Managing Supply Chain Departures.” This session delved into critical considerations and best practices for organisations navigating supplier exits and off-boarding processes.

The purpose of this virtual roundtable event was to facilitate collaborative discussions and knowledge-sharing on supply chain resilience, with a specific focus on the topic of supply chain exit. This brought together professionals from across the Financial Services, Retail and Professional & Legal industries to gain insight, share experiences, and agree best practices for a successful supply chain exit program.

Three main areas highlighted as part of the discussion included:

- Risk Preparedness: The level of preparedness in your organisation for potential disruptions caused by supplier exits, considering dependencies and contingency planning.
- Compliance & Documentation: Approach to compliance and documentation during supplier off-boarding including considerations for data security, contract adherence, and regulatory requirements.
